We are a new, fresh General Goods Auction at a great location in the heart of Melbourne's northern suburbs.
Every fortnight we will strive to bring you a wide variety of furniture, electrical, jewellery, antiques, tools and many more general goods and offer low premiums to both buyers and sellers.
We have a professional, young team of employees dedicated to customer service and satisfaction.
We are one of Melbourne's only General Goods Auction conveniently held on a Thursday, so why not come down and maximise your profit on your unwanted goods and household items or grab a coffee from the RAV Café and snap up a bargain yourself.
We hope to see you soon!
When you first arrive at RAV you will need to fill out a registration form at our reception office. To register you will need to provide photo identification and pay our $150 (cash only please) registration fee*.
The form will require your signature stating that you have read & understood all of the Terms & Conditions of Sale.
The terms and Conditions are displayed in our reception office, around the auction site or can be read here.
Please take a moment to read through them thoroughly
*The registration fee is fully refundable if no purchases are made
Please ensure you inspect the item or lot that you are interested in thoroughly before the auctioneer starts, as you cannot withdraw a bid once it has been made.
General Goods’ auctions are held every Thursday at 6.30pm. Viewings start between 4.30pm-6.30pm, prior to the auction start
Please note that goods at RAV Auctions are not sold with warranties or guarantees whatsoever
Upon registration you will be issued with your Buyers Number Card for the day (You must register for a new number at each auction).
Please take care of your Buyers Number Card as you will need to return it to reception when you pay for your item(s) or to receive your registration fee refund
When you are bidding, we ask that you ensure that the auctioneer & assistants can see your bid by raising your hand in a normal manner.
When you win a lot, the auctioneer will need to see your number.
Items will be on sale either unreserved; which means the item/lot will be sold to the highest bidder, or have a reserve price, meaning there is a minimum amount the vendor is willing to accept for the item/lot.Most bidding is in $10-$50 raises; the auctioneer has the right to & will occasionally nominate a higher or lower amount.
